Thanks to Ann for leaving the following guestbook entry.

Ann Cronin
Stratford upon Avon
"Hello Ann, your site is FAB! and has helped me alot, I did know Smiddy's were conected to me but not sure how, my grandmother was Nora Flavin who's mother was Bridget Kirk.
I am just finding my way though townlands and parish's, its a bit mind boggling.
I know our connection is not very ancient but I have pushed the Flavins back pre 1799 but nothing is easy in Irish personal history.
I'm sure you have checked out Michael Cronin's site which does concentrate on the Cronin's but from what my Aunt Bernadette (OZ) (who is the last remaining child of Nora Flavin doughter of Bridget kirk) has told me that there was some fallout between the cronin's and the Kirk's over farms but she can't really remember - she is 80 and was sent away to school at the age of 12 and so had no real contact with her extended family.
Anyway if I find anything interesting I will let you know. Ann Cronin "

    Was this your Grandmother?

I would love to hear more about your family,
My Mum has asked if you know Thomas Cronin RIP from Killeagh who was married to a Cunningham lady from Beanfield?
If you would prefer to contact me directly I have added a contact me page to this site which you can click on.
